Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The Terrill mill office in Marietta GA was on the chopping block, but it was backed out at the last minute. Most suspected it was going to cost more to close it down than to keep it open, and there is no way to move most (any???) of those people to the Alpharetta office. Not to mention that in the Atlanta area Norcross/Alpharetta may as well be a state away for many who work towards the downtown area. Consequently many won't even consider traveling there for work, especially since traffic could take a 45min trip and bend it into a 2hr or more trip each way.

I would expect every site that is not one f the current 6 COEs is potentially on the chopping block

@geq+1oBmnBXN, what is the required # needed to meet the Lincoln tax break, do you know? Would love to hear how many more bodies they need there.

Lincoln is next. Once FB figures out he can't fill seats for the city tax break, he will shut it down and hire in Omaha. I wouldn't move to Lincoln and have to go through this twice.

Coral is a dumpster fire. Everybody hates RTO. Site leadership is bad. The hacks from NY moved here. Bldg 1 is virtually empty. Building 2 is falling apart.

There's the usual information vacuum at work. Your immediate manager has no info...or theirs. Unless you are a caddy at the BH Country Club, ain't no job security anywhere here. Just meat.

That I'm aware of :(. What stinks is that there's rumors flying around this office and direct managers are either not in the know or playing d-mb to maintain status quo.

I wouldn't feel safe any where in this place. They have no real strategy other than to show people the door every few months so they can satisfy the numbers $ and stock price.
