Are care coordinators secure? How much longer will we last? I don't know whether to get out now or wait it out. If I leave, I would have to take a significant pay cut. If I stay, I just count my days. I don't know what to do anymore.

Does anyone know if any layoffs from Home and community care happened (formerly naviHealth)? Specifically any Care coordinators, clinical Medical operations managers for skilled nursing, impatient acute rehab, or LTAC ?
Were any BH care advocates laid off from the provider or member line today?
the only meeting i have today is for 3pm
CC ‘s were let go today along with Medical assistants , Dr.’s and NP no one was safe . If you got the link this morning at 9am you was let go second call at 9:30 to say you were safe . I don’t think any more cuts for now so if you’re still with Optum be thankful to still have a job . This was a very horrible experience and traumatizing . Everyone waiting this morning for a link not knowing that it was actually a blessing not to get it .

At WellMed, the Medical assistants do the referrals! Optum clinics are way over staffed compared to the WellMed model. Optum clinics have way too many nurses. An MA can do most of what the nurses do and what they can’t do, the doctors will.
if CCs got laid off, would LM1 take over?
I don't believe care coordinators are next. There is so much work. Who will do that work if they get laid off?
October is the end for CC’s. They will cut that expense for Q4
If you survived this one, you’re in the next one
No one is safe.
I would stay and ride it out as long as you can. Make sure to save up several months of living expenses so you are prepared if it does happen. This site creates more anxiety and some of us are worried for nothing. Keep looking forward and plan for the unexpected.
