Can anyone see anything positive in this acquisition (however difficult it may be)?

Here’s something to cheer you up. HR = Human Remains
As a shareholder lots of positivity, but if I were you I would find a new job asap
“ But you check a message board for employees that are going to be laid off even though you didn’t get the job?”
Not OP you are referring to but a quick mention here that there seems to be several people who are trolling this thread. So please take that into consideration that there are some who get joy in making others panic and worry. Especially if they got rejected by vmware already. I’m not saying not to be concerned, just be mindful that there are individuals who have an axe to grind and making you freak out is fun.
The positive here is that you still have runway left to make good things happen for your career. Focus on that and not the merger. Staying means you are putting your career in the hands of someone else. Get out.
the positive side is the pasta sause "R" got to be a CEO .
But you check a message board for employees that are going to be laid off even though you didn’t get the job? If so, here is a positive and my first ever compliment to our HR department: it looks like HR did a great job of screening out this person.
Here’s a positive…I applied and had two interviews a few months ago, but lost out to an internal candidate..::phew close one
Yes, the positive is the share price has increased to a level where our current management couldn’t get it to. That, plus an opportunity to find a better job is just what I needed to move forward.
