Thread regarding VMware layoffs

This process has NOT been EPIC2...

The rollout of the letters has NOT been done in an EPIC2 fashion. Which, I get it, EPIC2 are VMW's values, not BC's so should anyone expect it to be? While I get we have 30K+ employees, and it might not be feasible to send out that many letters at once (and keeping in mind certain regulations that might prevent that), it would at LEAST be nice to know what's going on. Ex: X, Y, and Z countries will get their letters after X date, letters in the US will be sent starting X date to X date, etc... They are putting a very bad taste in a lot of mouths the way they are doing this with absolutely no communication...it's a shame.

@gcw+1pgb5qyA Then what was your point? You're asking why Company A doesn't do things that Company B does?

@pmj+1pgb5qyA did you read everything I wrote in my comment? I'm very aware these are EPIC2 are not BC values and this is BC's process...

It’s not EPIC because it’s Broadcom’s process.

@pmj+1pgb5qyA I literally said it would be nice to have at least 2 bits of information...how does that equate to "every ounce of detail"? I don't think it's too much to ask for those two things. I'm not asking for a list of names and where everyone is going... Where are you getting 54 countries from? I wasn't aware of that...

There are literally only 6 countries where anything is happening pre-close, therefore 54 countries where nothing can happen yet. No idea why people expect to have every ounce of detail when it's mostly not their business to have.

The Result: Wall Street short traders and institutional investors have been selling off their VMW stock again this morning since the market opened. What a pitiful fiasco!
