Not much to do I am afraid!
About 10% of the US population have some dr-g abuse problem. No reason to believe that is much different within Schwab.
Random dr-g tests should be the norm.
Managers who cannot perform for whatever reason gets promoted to become someone else's problem. They are protected. You are not. If you report them, then you will be seen as the bad guy and you will never get promoted because no managers will trust you to work for them. Then they will find a way to get rid of you because you are considered a nuisance. HR does not want to be forced to do their jobs. Also, anonymity is a lie. HR talks and documentations are out there in the open. All emails can be reviewed. Deleting them does not help.
@m0 Don't you tell me what I need to get over! My kid brother and my ma, I loss them both within 3 monts of each oter. I swore to them both up in heaven that I'd never let the people resonsible for this have one moment of peace.
@m0 True. Had my tires slashed 4x's in the last two years and it ain't cheap to replace them. What did I do to deserve this? I never even knew this clown Scott.
@gc He was a good kid but you gotta get over this Frank. It was an accident. You can't just keep stirring the hate, attacking people at the Peak when most of them weren't even around when it happened. We all loved Scott. He never would've wanted this.
@g1 Scott was my kid brother. He didn't die of no overdose. Them people at the Peak got him drunk at the top of their hill and made him fall. 9 year he been dead. And my ma, she passed away not three months after. She died of a broken heart. My kid brother was no dr-g addict. He ess a good kid and everyone at Sout Mountain loved him.
Get this person help, do an intervention or something. There was a guy out here at the Peak who died from dr-gs years ago. His name was Scott. Very sad.
My director was both a drunk and a pedo. Drank at every offsite. Reported everything. Told them to check his work phone photos for the underage images. Nothing ever happened.
Way too common, especially in certain organizations and it’s worse the higher up you go. Random dr-g testing would wipe out a significant portion of some orgs.
Getting high is literally the only way you can deal with the inhumanity you face at Schwab every day.

Uses are losers. Report 'em and take a bit out of crime!
Join them. Dude sounds like a good time!
Procedure is listed in MyHR. Whether you want to expose yourself now or deal with the questions about not reporting late are up to you.
Substance abuse problem? Do they come into work drunk/high? Or is it that they mention they do a lot of dr-gs? Regardless, the problem is that proving it would require investigation, and not only is that not expected of you but actively discouraged. If you’re sure and you’ve seen an impact in the workplace, you -should- mention it, if you don’t feel comfortable mentioning it to HR you can bring it up with their skip-level manager. But either way you want to document everything with dates and times: Missed deadlines, tardiness, slurred speech, erratic behavior, everything. They’ll then investigate on their end.
MYOB.
Someone is responsible for performance managing them, and it ain't you.
