Our Org had an all hands yesterday. The Director said he thinks we are safe after the cuts that were made on Thursday, Only people who were "in office" for Bedminster and Alpharetta under Toretta got let go, and all of us virtual office and Dallas were good until the next round, I guess. Fingers crossed that our org won't see any more cuts until next year.

“ I am in mobility. We are safe. We carry the company.”
Orlando has a Mobility Call Center and it’s on a list for closure. Last I heard, it was on a 5 year decomm list and we’re starting year 4. Mobility isn’t as safe as some think, even with the Union there. Anybody can be gotten rid of. The diff is, some take longer than others.
Your Director will find out they need to lay people off probably no more than a week before they need to provide the heads.
Which is to say, they have no more idea how "safe" you are than you do.
Glad I am Union protected with 30 years.
Got a contract that protects me, and if the Company wants to pay me to retire, Cool.
If you’re not #DallasBound, your days are numbered.
Directors are basically area managers that have 0 authority. Your director has absolutely no idea what is happening and has no say at all. Each new day is the day you may be let go. You 100% know your value, so if you're not essential to things running on a daily basis, you're days are numbered. Just go find a new job.
The consistency is NO consistency!
Period!
They need to lay people off in hubs to free up seats so they can ask others to move there.
I do not see any offices being cut in any of the locations outside hubs. Are they going to ask all non-hub folks to move to hubs this year? Not knowing the game plan on this.
But the hubs still doing 3 days .. paving the way to 5
So now they’re laying off people in hubs and virtuals are being left alone?
That’s not been the case in the past. My org recently targeted those that were virtual or outside or hubs. Then some of the people outside hubs there were targeted got a reprieve.
The people making these decisions are clueless!
How do you have years of layoffs and still not know who or what you’re targeting?
The people who got the reprieve work with the FCC. They thought they could just clean house but guess what?
They can’t!
What the director really meant was I am safe “
And in my 24 years in the company, I have seen favoritism play out beautifully between some sycophants and their teaming manager. Some people are unfairly protected and are untouchable due to their dubious manager - no affect whatever the facts!!
"All of us virtual office and Dallas were good until the next round?"
Which virtual office? lol
I am a boot li---r so I am safe. You complainers better watch out.
If a director was speaking, the were more than likely being less than truthful.
@b0 and there are plenty of them, especially boot lickers.. is revolting to watch it.
No one is safe! disclaimer in mice type: unless you are family, friend or a boot licking sycophant.
Read your union contract and talk to a steward. Lol.
I am in mobility. We are safe. We carry the company.
Thanks for the juvenile comments. Can we grow up, just a little? Worst part of coming into the office is having to deal with the gross employees. Your family must be so proud.
Thank you for the update. We all know that your words of authority come down from the highest levels and that we can now sleep comfortably with your wife’s finger in our butt holes. This is the greatest day ever!
