What possible value do they serve? I mean really. They never know anything and they never help. Time to trim the HR fat.

I do not think HR should be trimmed but I do think they should be paid what they are worth. So give them $1 per day as an average.
In addition to HR "Human" Resources, as to who should be Re-leveled or Laidoff, Citi can add the CAO's and their Staff. What do they actually do or work on besides Pontificate and dole out unsolicited advice and recommendations that are actually Not recommendations???
When the CAO's and their staff give out their unwanted "recommendations", these are actually Orders or mandates that you Must follow. The CAO's have only a cursory or trivial "knowledge" about the subjects for which they're doling out unwanted recommendations. Yet, we're ordered or required to follow their ign0rant, Half-@SSED Half-Baked directives. Just because you know how to drive a car, does Not mean you know how to build a car!
It's absolutely NO wonder Citi is in the Freak Show Circus State it's in with its Potemkin Village of !d!ots ! Post ID: @5ehvj+1qEniJJX
Start with the obvious low hanging fruit. Relevel HR in accordance to their use and impact. So that’d be to cut HR headcount by half and what’s left lower their pay.
Don't be ridiculous. HR is the most innovative team at Citi. Do you know how many companies can automatically add holidays to ETO calendars in Workday?
I'm sure it isn't just a standard feature that every other company in the world figured out long ago.
long overdue
Yes, when the shoe is on the other foot, its no longer funny as they are finding out.
I find this post interesting as on one of my meeting of about 12 people, someone mentioned this very thought of scaling back on HR and everyone was in agreement. There’s no one I know who thinks its a bad idea.
Post ID: @gar+1vO7i3ca HR's Nerves were Struck! LOL!!! Look at the retorts and insults from "Human" Resources. LOL!
I don’t know if I think HR should be trimmed down a lot but I do think that their compensation needs to diminish in accordance with how much AI, chatbot and other types of tech takes over their role. If tech takes over 50% of their job, then their salary needs to shrink by 50%.
Exactly, I agree, HR should look in the mirror and realize that they are no longer needed.
The real FAT are the ones here complaining about HR. All of your problems in life can be attributed to one person: Go look in the mirror
HR has been hit hard in all of the layoffs
The company can use the chatbot and self help to service the HR needs of the employees and really scale down on the HR headcount. Maybe even leverage AI for what little HR actually does, whatever that is.
Citi could even outsource the HR personnel as the need arises. Basically hiring exactly the headcount you need with no excess. If they need more short term, hire a temp.
A true cost savings not to mention that it’d give the HR personnel they let go an exciting opportunity to seek out other new challenges elsewhere. Its a win win situation.
They know plenty, the problem is you don't listen, don't respect what they say. You already made up your mind what you wanted before you reached out, so anything other than taking your order and "they serve no purpose". You are the problem, and why they are paid so well, to put up with folks like you who have tiny-man-syndrome
