Wake up.
@fzm
Sell off and shutter what?
15% layoffs again in September, then SD, ki-ls the linear channels.
Sell off, shutter,
It’s coming.
Any news?
STIP % higher than last years. I’m surprised we are still getting it.
CBS going dark over carriage agreement with YouTube is at impasse. Trump skewers CBS with 27 page discovery request
Dark? Why?
CBS & Nick channels are going Dark on YouTube today. Doesn't help the job situation
What is SD walkthrough at the Nick animation studio?
Trump has a mafioso mindset - doesn't matter son of Ellison owns anything. Somebody attacks or betrays Trump & they're gone - simple as that. Everybody's been kissing Trump's ring, CBS won't even apologize for long list of Trump attacks way before he walked out on 60 Minutes interview
SD walkthrough at the Nick animation studio
Thanks for posted links. Sad state of affairs when this type of discrimination is happening at what once was considered a great place to work. Look at the shady hires they turned around and did across diff CBS divisions v soon after the last round of layoffs
It's true, CBS link for 60 minutes. Just a quick head count of the producers , associate producers & broadcast associates shows 45 of 67 producers are female before it goes on to list techs & others that have more to do with the show for on-air production.

Post about interns is specific about 60 minutes interns hired for correspondent storyteller teams of over 60 people - assoc prod, producers & broadcast Associates that research, write, interview & fact check stories. instead of existing staff. no black Male producers, no male producers over age 30 etc. virtually only females hired since 2019 when Bill Owens , Tanya Simon & Pelley took the reigns. Based on 60 minutes staff listed on current "who we are" on CBS website. Search 60 Minutes in your LinkedIn acct., this site won't paste link
Agree with this statement. Where can we view this chat "Hopefully flush out the hot connected interns that were hired as producers over pre existing staffers - if anybody's seen that chat going on in social media"
which office/location is the SD walk through?
SD doing a walkthrough tomorrow. People asked to be in office
No. David Ellison was just quoted by Puck saying it's not a matter of if but when the merger happens. Pay a fine to make diaper Donny look good and say we are sorry. All is forgotten. Deal with all the lawsuits kater
has anyone heard chatter that SD is looking for a way out of the merger and has legal cause bc of the Trump suit and may exercise that right ...
Judge denied CBS motion to dismiss Trump lawsuit. This is happening & it's real - any settlement with Trump will be much larger than the ABC settlement, most likely at least $100 Million or tens of millions & will affect many jobs. Hopefully flush out the hot connected interns that were hired as producers over pre existing staffers - if anybody's seen that chat going on in social media
NYC Pension fund now suing to pause Paramount merger
MSG is heading towards bankruptcy - this is what happens when sons of billionaires run their own companies - to whoever the Ellison lovers are
To the denial guy. The only guarantee of much more layoffs in 2025 is if indeed there's a Skydance merger. Additionally, the merger will cause duplication - and as always the case, Skydance will keep its own people. Skydance is most likely in an ever increasing Ai mode which will do nothing but reduce staff year after year
To nobody gives an F about Trump - this whole merger now rests upon what Trump & Trump's FCC decide
I would imagine almost nobody knows what the impact of the Skydance takeover will look like, so I doubt anybody will be able to offer much info in this forum besides speculation.
I bet all of our jobs are equally in jeopardy and none of us are in a position to know how the dice will roll as to who will survive and who will not.
Somebody tell Company Man in denial that Trump wants CBS & 60 Minutes shut down - so much for being "pals" with Ellison
where are they going to cut in the BC and 1515 ?
Enjoy the remote working. It won’t last with the new owner.
Which functions? BTE?
Just because a job is listed doesn’t mean they are hiring. They have to post certain positions for people here on Visas for example. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Some are contractor conversions that were approved by the pep boys they also have to be posted for the minimum period.
but the odd thing is that Paramount has approx 200 jobs posted on linkedin. just saw a newly posted one for a senior counsel. they let go plenty of sr counsels back in the 2nd half of 2024!..baffled!
They will come once the SD deal closes. They are being planned right now. Not the names but the functions and numbers that will be cut. Its going to be an ugly year.
