Hey MP, are YOU listening?!
THIS IS ALL HAPPENING UNDER YOUR COMMAND
I’ll bet anything all of this has come about due to a lawsuit. They didn’t JUST decide to all of the sudden care out of the goodness of their hearts....not after years of ruining careers.
Someone should take deep look into Apparel Innovation leadership
They'll find that bullying, intimidation, nepotism, a general disrespect of colleagues with experience, s-xist remarks, the elimination of nay-sayers and company money spent on unnecessary travel and lavish expenses are the norm.
I don’t doubt that there are countless s-xual harassment claims but I’ve heard more about bullying and general intimidation of anyone (women and men) not in the “popular clique”. Thoughts?
Wait one hot minute. NOW you want to hear from us? Is this a joke?
Do you know how many women had s-xual harassment and gender wage gap claims that got let go? Have you done your due diligence? This post in this location is so tone deaf my ears hurt.
I tip my hat to the brave woman I assume lawyered up and refused to sign her severance package and instead threatened to bring the ship down with her. She deserves a medal.
I sold my stock and donated it to Times Up just because of this crap. Look at HR, Technology and GOT leadership. The two people gone today are just the tip of the iceberg.
And all of us who endured this hullabaloo for years only to be kicked out the door are sitting back, slapping each other on the back and saying “it’s a good day to be retired from Nike.” Because as much as Nike loves women as consumers (see Serena), Nike hates the women who work for them.
Why should we be loyal to you now? Why should we stay quiet? JM4 forgot the meaning of Do The Right Thing for years. We, however, have never forgotten.
And, end scene (with stink eye)
Parker wrote in the staff memo that he is “determined to make the necessary changes so that our culture and our company can evolve and grow,” and according to ESPN, Nike now has a confidential phone number and email address employees can call if they “feel threatened.”
But can the company fix the problem without sharing the specific allegations, or taking accountability? Either way, given the speed the #MeToo movement has given to workplace scandals, it’s only a matter of time before the story of what’s going on at Nike comes out.
Have a tip about Nike? Email me at Chavie@Racked.com.
The company is changing, look at the departures
And what would happen if anyone emailed/called? They would find a reason to discredit your claim and find any way possible to make it seem like none of this is their fault. I bet there's not even oversight into this mail box/VM. They're probably in meeting after meeting trying to figure out who makes the decision about what to do with the information. Typical Nike.

And this is going viral, 500 views in a couple of hours
This applies to me:
This is too late. Too many people have been wrecked by the hotlines. Everyone is too scared to do it now.
I sent an email today. Including to MP himself
Is this number/email for real? Can former employees respond to it?
"In Thursday's memo to Nike staff, Parker said the company will mandate new management training and pointed employees to email and phone hotlines for confidentially reporting complaints."
This is too late. Too many people have been wrecked by the hotlines. Everyone is too scared to do it now.
Finally they're listening to those "brave employees who spoke up." when I spoke up about being disrespected I was ousted from the "clique" and then layed off.
It didn't matter how hard I worked or what I delivered, I called out an issue with the "popular" guy and I worked for a woman!
Speaking up, or disagreeing, about anything has been a career killer there for years, and not just at the exec level.
Oh sure, now you act like someone cares. Can’t count the people who spoke up only to get unceremoniously shoved out the door, regardless of performance. Equality...what an utter joke.
