Can someone explain the new STIP policy? Former employee here looking to collect their bonus.

@15z there's no layoffs this week. If there was it would be a bigger deal on this forum. Everything gets leaked
@15e Wait. Will there be a layoff this week or are we just guessing?
@wd early payout is sus that layoff is going down this week
STIP hit bank account this morning.
@na rude much! I hope you don’t act that way at work.
@ad you id--t. Laid off employees that ended 12/31 get bonuses.
@h7 you are exhibit A for a toxic work environment. Guarantee you will get weeded out in the next layoff round. K
@fr they won’t notify you, but you can reach out to the last HR rep you spoke with when offboarding for more info on what you receive
@h7 you are so hostile and rude. How are you still employed?
@h3 Spoken like a true loser. Keep that jealousy going. It will get you far in life.
@gz spoken like a true remote worker.
@gt I wish this was true so jealous bootlickers like you would keep crying.
@gt is this true? This is very disturbing.
Caribbean remote workers got above target. Can you believe that?
Wondering the same thing. I left for another role in early Jan and was told I’d still receive STIP… but not sure how it’ll be paid out or if I’ll be notified of the amount.
Enough with the stip nonsense
@ad Some laid off employees have a termination date of 1/1/26, which makes them bonus eligible.
@OP There is no “new” policy. Nothing has changed. If you are bonus eligible, you got a notice yesterday of the amount that will be paid out on 3/9. This smells a little bit like “ I don’t work here and I’m fishing for information.”
STIP target is a different percentage of your salary depending on your level. So 10% for some, but different percentages for others.
i didn't get one but it's outlined here: https://www.businessinsider.com/paramount-year-end-bonus-david-larry-ellison-wbd-deal-2026-3
to save you a click, apparently they got a 100% (flat) individual multiplier and 94% business multiplier, on a stip target that's usually 10% of their salary
so if you made 150k and your stip target was 15k, you'd actually get just over 14k, so less than expected. wild times we're living in
