Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Reinvent shares

Glad I sold my RSUs straight away this morning before they dropped yet further! Thanks for the free money Murray but I don't believe in you to keep it in bp shares

divesting all shares now might not be ideal especially with Elliot starting to call the shots on the board. If they can repeat what they did with ConocoPhillips then hopefully holding the shares until the big changes start (firing the current CEO and LT and divesting tanking assets) may be the way to go. Just my 2 cents

Dear @fq+1jp38tedj

Just one correction: firstly we should cast our votes in AGM agains the re-hiring of current CEO and rest of LT.

Then divest.

The best thing to do with company shares is divest them as soon as they vest.

Diversify your life. Your income is already tied to your company - get all money out and invested elsewhere when possible.

So ungrateful of you SOBs. You got free shares and complain about them yet went right ahead and cashed them out. Hypocritical much?

So. What does the math say. Was it better to EOI in reinvent and walk into another job or to stay and get the reinvent shares?
