If Ford truly cared about us, they would either up our pay, or let us WFH an additional day each week, to compensate us for the price of gas used coming into the office.

Up until 2007 Ford paid for your home internet if you were required to be on all 24x7 to fix hardware/software issues. They also paid for either a pager or cell phone.
After that they said as a condition of employment you must pay for your own internet, cell phone AND buy your own home computer and software to use to connect to Ford. They refused to issue laptops as they were more expensive than workstations (In 2016 they finally started issuing laptops)
So expecting Ford to pay for your gas or let you WFH is ignoring how little Ford cares about your wallet.
It is too bad out next-gen Model e BEV products aren't available to the public yet. With the current fuel price climate, this would be opportune time to conquest customers to our latest electric mobility and services offerings. We could gain and advantage over the legacy products that the world needs to move away from. The time is now.

Ford doesn’t care about you or any employee. All employees are just a number and a tool to make profit. You all work to make the Ford Family rich. Also, it is not Ford’s fault gas prices are high so it’s a stupid argument to say WFH an extra day due to gas prices.
