This place is really starting to make me hate my life.
Start? They been tracking your every move while at work, for the past 50 years.
@b9 BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
We were told to leave devices at work end of day. Why would take them home as we lock them up at the office
Is the Microsoft Teams server located in Room 641A?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Room_641A
Can it see me out front doing the fenty fold?
#1984 #BigBrother is Watching you. 👀
“ Maybe because of all the fake work.”
Like that of the L3s, L4s & upward? They are fiefdom lords & masters of “delegation”. Those glorified paper pushers are FAR more costly than as worker bees!
“Well it can’t track if I’m walking around the office and collaborating. I thought that was the point of RTO.”
But it is tracking the meetings on your calendar to see where you should be and for how long.
Maybe because of all the fake work. No company is obligated to pay anyone to play minecraft and go shopping. Get a robot and pay that company nearly nothing to write emails vs $100k for a human just lying and stealing
They just keep turning the sc--ws!
Well it can’t track if I’m walking around the office and collaborating. I thought that was the point of RTO. Most of the time that’s more valuable than some lame teams call that should have been an email anyways.
Microsoft Teams will soon include a location-tracking feature using Wi-Fi connections, but it requires admin activation and user opt-in.
rto and data tracking are just more ways the mark of beast is manifesting on humanity just wait for digital money, big brother everywhere, and chip implants
This is great! Ai is going to be great for the workforce. You’re gonna love it. Blue collar work is the new status symbol.
Can't track my tequila shots.
Are they going to track my score on the golf course? WFH.
Its going to see things it probably doesn't want to see.
"It also provides focus and distraction data based on patterns, if your idle or switching apps during the meeting, multi-tasking. It even has behavioral trends such as chat engagement, screen sharing, camera usage, no shows, and just about everything else you can think of. "
But I'm collaborating in person at face to face meetings, so it should see no activity. I'm questioning whether you're collaborating or not?

The visual dashboards will out you every time so you better pretend harder.”
Absolutely! And this is why RTO is not going away any time in the near future.
"Why would you worry if you are where you are supposed to be?"
You're right because numbers don't lie! People with numbers do.
Why would you worry if you are where you are supposed to be?
AT&T has been leveraging MS Teams’ rich suite of telemetry data for some time. Why do you think that most of you here are being laid off? They know when you speak and when you are just camping out. They know when you arrive, when you drop off, and when you are the host. They know the number of attendees, and if you are the only one there. The Telemetry data is years beyond flagging you as idle.

Will it see when open a mtg with just myself and walk away to do more pressing items?
Start? What do you think teams has been doing since 2020?
@ag - why even reply?? You mustn’t be too bright.
@ac Tuesday and Thursday? We are 5x RTO, not possible any longer. You’ve just exposed yourself as a troll from the Verizon board. I guess that’s what you guys do over there.
What about my 11am tennis matches on Tuesday and Thursday?
They already know your location. It’s on the RTO troubleshooter site. You can logon and see it yourself.
Core hours?
Do you only use the network during core hours? Do you think this place runs itself outside of core hours?
No need to worry if you are at:
The right location
The right time
During core hours
Who cares? They already have a tracking device in your PC and COU
