They laid off all there experience, the people that got them where they were and still working for them. They will never be the same. Half the people still there running the company are nothing more that kids

@fgo+14G7vxIV The difference in packages is based on if the layoffs at a particular location trigger the WARN Act which legally require 8 weeks of notice. If it’s less than a full facility closure or 30% of the facility, then it falls to the standard packages you described.

@wah+14G7vxIV 8 week package? That’s sh–. Our people got 1 wk per yr of service and two of those were just at 1 yr. Not even 2 weeks in leu of notice. One guy had 40 yrs in and was capped at 13 weeks. After dedicating his life (and he was all about the company) to big red. C-appy that they treat some employees better than others. Keep the package the same across the board and quit playing favorites.

Artesia hit again today, somewhere between 6-10 left for transfer to Odessa.

Layoffs were a conference call from HR where everyone got an 8 week package

Artesia is closing and relocating to Odessa. Have bedn moving equipment for a week. The bulk plant will remain open until all cement has been used. All mechanics, etechs, and bulk laid off. Down to 12 supervisors for cmt. Some supervisors knocked down to operators, as service leaders move back to the field. And the plant mgr is now a service leader.

Not sure how long this will last once the move to Odessa is final.
