A quick one shot layoff all the same day such as Goldman did, or long drawn out layoff that citi is doing. When Goldman laid off all those people, everybody was very critical of it, but I wonder which is worse.

We ALL know this is worse. GS actually had a heart. Go figure. This is cruel and unusual punishment and torture.
Plain Jane lacks leadership capabilities and a heart too apparently.
Quick. Realistically, at this point, I don’t believer that anyone is working their hardest because everyone is worried for their job. We have 4 months of this in our future!
Quick. This feels like psychological warfare
dragging it out has a terrible effect on morale. whether it's done in one fell swoop or in stages, i think the most important thing though is letting people know when it's over and no more layoffs are coming. let those remaining get back to work without distraction
Post ID: @ffz+1pCK89lF Yes, I was just laid off in January at citi. Was there over 30 years luckily saved enough money to early retire. I was just curious what people think now as when I was laid off there wasn’t a mass layoff notice. Just wondering what everyone thinks.
OP, have you been laid off before?
Should be quick , in one shot.
This is worse because they actually want people to continue working until the final day
Quick - but its not what we want, its going to be whatever they deem is best for the company.
