Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

I agree, take care of your Dad. I was able to adjust my work schedule to help with both my Mom and Dad during their illnesses. I worked for two different hospitals at that time. I have no regrets, now that they are gone.

Take care of your dad if you can afford the time. Work is always there but our parents unfortunately are not with us forever. Life has a way to help us pave our way. :)

I love the funny posts. I don’t know what I’m even hoping for at this point. My dad keeps telling me that he’s not doing well, so maybe it could be in my best interest that I get laid off and get this severence pay. Maybe I need to be there right now. I don’t think any of us have control over this. It’s hard to not know your fate, but regardless what you’re actually hoping for, the unknown is hard.
