Funny thing about the internet is anyone can claim to have been or be anything.
Executive level? I doubt it.
Let me guess, you're a cowboy astronaut millionaire?

Devon is the worst run company in the oil business and I am embarrassed that I worked for them. At the time, they were The company to work for. I had a great role there and worked my as! off but loved it. I was proud, made a lot of money, had floor seats for the Thunder and was on a first name basis with all of the executives, and I parked in the executive garage. My wife kept telling me that I was drinking the Koolaide and too full of myself. But I told her that I was helping envision a future for the company based on technology. That I was a key member of a small team that developed a vision for digital transformation for the company. The I got layer off.

I got over being later off, deepened my relationship with my previous boss and the executives that I worked with. I quickly found an executive level job with a much better company and am loving it.

It’s har to believe that in 5 short years, under the “leadership” of DH, Devon has been such a train wreck. Fortunately I sold all of my stock when I was payed off. What a total disaster. Devon Energy Center is holding them back. Who wants to take on a nearly $1billion expense on the books? It’s a good thing that the Colcord, Flint and Vast are closed. Why in the h double l is an oil and gas company in the hotel and restaurant business? That was an AM decision and completely flawed.

This downside started with JR and continues with DH. The do nothing Board has no bal!s. I am glad that I sold my last tranche at $24/share.

My advice to the Board, but it won’t matter, is that they fire DH and the rest of the executive team and find a buyer for the company.
