Thread regarding T. Rowe Price Group Inc. layoffs

Make Sure To Vote AGAINST Rob’s Pay

Legitimately sickening that he is making millions while overseeing years of layoffs and decline. Make sure to vote against his pay in the proxy voting! Since apparently TRP is too chicken sh-t to send out an employee survey for the last 4? 5? years, this is one way to let your voice known.

@OP Why does this sicken you? This place is a greed factory and he is doing exactly what the rest of you would do…”enough is never enough”, that should be the trp motto we see while entering the building. Maybe made out of wrought iron.

@zv You have to own TROW stock to vote. If you buy it through the ESPP, you should have gotten an email about voting at your with email address.

How to vote?

Can employees also vote against this?

@fa Voted against, but will make no difference. How can one person be awarded so many $ over a period when the share price has absolutley cratered and the soul been ripped out of the firm?

Id--ts who use ESG for virtue signaling should just donate their own paychecks to leftist organizations. I always knew that as soon as the economy soured, all this ESG talk would fly out the window. Next year, the people chanting 'ESG!' will be the ones screaming for 'Oil!' They have zero backbone.

@fa I wonder if ESG assisted people in their decision to remove funds, at least some people. I know there were several states that were moving their money out of similar companies because of ESG where the main driver is to invest in feel good woke stuff and not solely based on the returns expected. As for DEI, they had to get rid of that so they can focus on replacing a diverse array of American workers with workers from one country/nationality. It seems like all companies now no longer want to hire Americans and they can legally discriminate us and bring over people to take jobs here while we sit unemployed because of a fake "worker shortage".

Rob needs to go. He’s steered the ship into the ground by obsessing over ESG and DEI nonsense instead of focusing on our core business. When the head is rotten, the whole body follows. Our lack of returns is squarely on him. He’s just a suit sitting in a privileged chair, acting smart without a shred of real leadership.

@f0 If you are a shareholder, you should get an email from whoever administers your account.

@dw they’ve just completely missed that open spaces with unassigned seats was tried in the 90s and failed completely. Mgmt committee is old enough to remember the “pod” craze. Without some quiet time, and sitting near your peers—or at least around the same stranger every day that eventually you get to know—everyone is sitting with headphones. I listen to a lot of green noise hoping to get 3 minutes a day where I can think.

@OP Where did Robby’s DEI objective go? Reasons behind the disappearance?

TBH who would fill out a survey? They always assign you a "unique link" and you can be tracked. They are looking for reasons to get rid of you. They are also checking badge in records. I hate coming in office. The desks have been sneezed on and Lords knows what else. It is noisy. People take their shoes off and you can smell it. People talk loud, and it doesn't really matter if it is work-related or not. I always get stuck next to people, not on my team, and I have no idea who they are who hold meetings with 3 or 4 colleagues at their flex desk. They don't bother finding a huddle room or other space. Because it is "work-related" I feel like I can't say anything. I do not get any work done. I just sit there and seethe. I wish they understood this. I miss cubicles that give you a bit more space and privacy/quiet. And assigned seats so I know who is around me, and have them be people I legit work with.
