Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

RTO only for phone slaves

There is no way RTO is being enforced equally. The only people who are being forced to come in are the people on the phones. I walk the floors

@w7 badges are tracked via myti and shows number of badge swipes per physical location. can be used for evidence for pips or anything else. hr has data that is specific to employee and can be requested. it is all manager discretion what to do with the data.

All batch swipes are recorded, it depends on the manager to review and question. The person who sit across me in another team was questioned not by his direct manager, but his manager's boss, asking why he did not comply with the rule to be in office 4 days a week. he missed only one day because he hurt his leg. That tells you they are always watching! I was told by a coworker they monitor your key strokes to see whether you are actively working. We have a person in another team who got fired using a mouse jiggler.

@f9 whose badges? Everyone? Or only if they are asked by managers, directors, etc. What are they doing with the information? If they let one person go due to not being in office for 4 days, how can they keep others who are also guilty?

I can confirm first hand they are looking at badge swipe ins/swipe outs.

@aj The can. And they do rollup reporting. But they don't act on it as policy. Failure to equally enforce policy is a problem.

They can track your badge swipe. So good luck

It isn’t enforced at all. Some managers seeking to be by-the-book are. Otherwise it’s nonsense.
