Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Interesting parties in Hungary theh have

They fired the entire leadership after it was found out they organised s-x massage rooms and dr-gs on a conference.

Wonder if there were such rooms when Christian went there this year and if their goodbyes were so heartfelt and the severence so high as for Jürgen. Or do you have to se-----y harrass a colleague to be praised?

Still nothing outside of Hungarian news outlets.

I begin to doubt the whole story.

Maybe there is a scandal. Maybe not.

One thing is certain though: You can trust the board. They know what to do.

The board knows best.

@f9 search by managing director name. You will find. It’s not mainstream reporting nonetheless, it is still out there.

No article from outside Hungary to be found. I wonder whether this is really such a big scandal as described, or whether something was misinterpreted or blown up out of proportion.

Wow, how disappointing. After all the procedures and governance they have employees go through, they do this.

I have never seen such behavior since CK got into power.

Shape up CK get in charge with your leaders and stop focusing on stock performance.

Such a disappointment.

Put your money where it counts for the sake of your employees.

@bf Don‘t spread rumours.

CK and TS have not transgressed in a publicly-known way. Therefore they are innocent.

Well, CK, JM (gone for inappropriate behavior) and TS are also familiar with. Not a surprise, just illustrates current executives mindset.

The entire Hungarian SAP management dismissed, scandal in the background

According to Index, the German parent company has dismissed the entire top management of SAP Hungary Kft. The decision is linked to a company event last year, where prost---tes were allegedly present and a separate room was provided for their services. Reportedly, an Excel sheet recorded who used the so-called “quiet room.”

The German headquarters grew suspicious about the need for “massage” at a conference and launched an investigation. Internal checks revealed that dr-g use may also have occurred. As a result, the entire Hungarian leadership was dismissed and a crisis team was set up.

Company response
SAP confirmed that Szabolcs Pintér, managing director of SAP Hungary, has left the company. The planned SAP NOW AI Tour Hungary event (September 14-16) has been cancelled, and clients are instead directed to the Vienna event on September 25. The company declined to comment on rumors or speculation regarding personnel or events.

Background
SAP Hungary has been operating since 1997 and currently employs around 2,000 people. It is one of the leading players in the Hungarian business IT sector, also engaged in international product development and support.

According to Telex, Szabolcs Pintér had been with the company since 2007 and had served as managing director since 2019. The dismissals are connected to a global audit initiated after Business Insider reported on a s-xual misconduct case at SAP’s US subsidiary. In Hungary, however, there was no s-xual misconduct, but allegedly problematic wording was found in internal correspondence related to a company event, which led to the managing director’s departure.
