Lots of buzz on this or they might end up selling one of the two - Merchant vs Financial - lucrative stock price!!! save the ship from sinking while Franky and his gangsters sip some luxurious wine, watching sunset from his beachfront villa , laugh it out on hard working associates who are about to be RIFd big time !!! What a shame s**ky Franky

@f7 layoff layoff layoff until they're left with a few dozen associates who'd no clue of what to do & no one left to do the real work or no one willing to take take care of clients (phky FB's 9 hour mandate is a classic example) they would have lost all client business and stock down to $5 , I mean seriously what is left here in terms of employee count is so skinny and bare bones --there would be nothing left to acquire should they still decide to go down that path
They would probably layoff first.. the acquiring company would not want to bring on extra employees
Current stock price and market cap make it a candidate for an activist investor who takes a large share to demand a breakup of the company. Selling or spinning off into two parts. Merchant and FI.
@a6 Not sure about large-scale acquisition, but I think ML said the company is going to monetize non-core assets? Lots of PE shops out there that like our 80% recurring revenue light capital model assets.
Kimberly-Clark might buy, they bought the company that owns Tylenol.
You know nothing.
Who is going to acquire it? And why? Doesn’t make sense
