Heavy layoffs are going on starting from the director ( 3rd week January) now Sr. managers , next week it will hit the manager & below.

That ship sailed 5+ years ago when the ones that actually knew what they were doing in SC were run off & replaced by the B.S. artists that didn't know their A$$ from a hole in the ground......

Massive layoffs coming. Rumour has it 1,500+ affected. A focus on management. Getting rid of PLs and consolidate into segments. Turning the whole place to more SLB-like.

Sell offs not lay offs will be the way ahead in manufacturing, shop rates are too high due to high ratio of non producers to producers. Expect to see more sell offs then the parts will be bought in, rather than made. The flaw in this plan is that you lose control of your supply chain and are at the mercy of suppliers.

When you lose a lot of work you have layoffs. That’s how it works. You don’t hire people when you lose work.
