Our fearless leader, Rick, is following in Walt's footsteps by refusing to accept anonymous questions as part of the Corporate Update. What is he afraid of?

Mr. Burns from the Simpsons
The guy is a cyborg. talking head who couldnt care less about employees
Every employee needs to decide whether to leave the firm, stay and push back loudly and often against helping maga violate the Constitution, or stay and quietly sabot... Er, slowww things down.
You don't have to allow this fascist shizz to continue.
You can the inner monologue of every director at schw: this is no big deal don't overreact Oh but guys I'm one of the good ones
I feel bad for the guy with the “corporate shoes.” I don’t know if he realizes he was used as a prop because of his skin color and to lessen the blow after Rick announced their partnership with Drumpf. “See guys, we’re all inclusive here and we aren’t na-zis!”
Schwab is now doing business directly with Donald Trump. Rick put people of color on the stage to whitewash this announcement. So much talk about ethical financial management for clients.
Rick & Co want to help orange maga daddy build his fascist house of cards.
Sickening.
Definitely we should all be giving him a shot. I like how he brought what we do to life with actual clients in the beginning. It showed our impact over generations. I also liked hearing from the guest speakers. Rick is really trying and he may make choices we don’t always like but he is trying to connect with us and connect us to why we are here.
@ev+1jjtp1ted thus far he's nothing more than Walt 2.0. no matter how many times Walt said Rick is calling the shots starting January 1, it is apparent Walt is still running this show.
I get that they're trying to humanize Rick. He seems like a cheerful-down-to-earth fella with good intentions. Let's just hope he changes this company in a positive direction. He didn't say RTO 5x for sure in 2026, that's as much as we can hope for. If the company does well this year, I'd imagine he won't want to change anything. However, we've been deceived by CEO's before (Walt), but let's at least give the guy a shot. No?
@dx+1jjtp1ted weirdest corporate update ever.
He commented and stated 5 day RTO would not happen in 2025 but cannot make promises after that date. What more are you expecting? That the current hybrid schedule will remain in entirety? Grow up!
Well, that was a weird corporate update. Two people telling sappy stories rather than actually hearing updates from the CFO.
Yup, he pretty much hinted at RTO5 coming in 2026. I guess watching people constantly talk to each other and bothering others is better for the company than efficiency. We're still stuck in some weird delusion that all of us are constantly whiteboarding together in person and not on team's calls with people from around the country. Oh well.
@d2+1jjtp1ted Committed to not changing the HWF in 2025. Which means RTO5 in 2026.
What were the questions? Did he share any relevant news?
And he answered a total of 3 questions
- What a fu--ing joke
Lies! He is taking questions. I love what Rick is doing and excited to see what he is going to do. Okay, bye!
Medical exemption abuse, the future of RTO with no bullsh-t corporate maneuvering, unfair enforcement of badge swipe monitoring and enforcement, I could come up with dozens.
MEA. Can't speak to that without running into liability issues. The best statement would be that we focus on the needs of our employees and have a process to ensure that we respond appropriately.
RTO. They aren't going to announce RTO5. I believe it is coming, but delayed due to our parking issues.
Badges. There will be outcomes next month as we hold reviews. More messaging about expectations and policy.
You nailed it with the "no bullsh-t corporate maneuvering" request. That's exactly what you aren't going to get. There's no reason to be plain.
I would not be surprised if this is not a Rick decision. I suspect senior leadership does not want him to really know what is going on as they keep feeding him what he wants to hear. I truly believe this is why Rick thinks the culture is great and all employees are happy as this is what he is fed.
@c3+1jjtp1ted nailed it. I dislike always comparing with TDA, but there were hundreds of questions being asked and voted on there. With significantly less associates.
How telling it is that from 30,000+ employees a total of 3 measly questions have been approved to be voted on. Two of these questions are essentially identical.
The woke employees had zero problem asking about DEI with their full name in the Q&A.
@aj+1jjtp1ted I'm not OP but things discussed right in this forum. Medical exemption abuse, the future of RTO with no bullsh-t corporate maneuvering, unfair enforcement of badge swipe monitoring and enforcement, I could come up with dozens.
How many more layoffs is he going to do
What question do you want to ask and what (honest) answer do you hope to get?
@a1+1jjtp1ted Welcome to the Schwamily.
Weird, every TDA executive embraced anonymous questions and feedback.
