I am not asking for this to be displayed in public on this site, I am just aksing if someone can tell me where to find it and read it. I have not been affected today but I know several people who were. I wish them all the best and I hope all of this will be behind us very soon.

So basically if you are < 1 year=- 2 weeks. If you have completed at least a year, should be a min of 4 weeks.
It a bit more complicated than that simple summary which only reflects the minimums.
and there is also:
- Part-Time/Short Service. works less than thirty hours (30) per week, or who has less than one Year = 2 weeks Base Salary
My severance notice states I can only receive 2 weeks despite the policy stating 4 weeks minimum..
So, let's say you are let go after 20 years:
- You get 10 weeks for the first 10 years
- You get 15 weeks for the second 10 years
- You total severance pay is 25 weeks which is about six months of pay, I'd say thats decent.
Yes, this is correct as @esa posted:
If you are AB -> myAB -> myHR > View Policies -> Other Policies -> Associate Benefits -> Severance Plan Policy.
This sums up AB's Severance Policy - this is the minimum, it goes up from here for higher levels.
for FTE / minimum of 30 hours per week.
one week’s Salary for each Year up to 10 completed years;
one and one half weeks Salary for each Year in excess of 10 completed years.
in no event will a Severance be less than the 4 weeks Salary
If you are AB -> myAB -> myHR > View Policies -> Other Policies -> Associate Benefits -> Severance Plan Policy.
