Hopefully those that have been instrumental in the decline of Teradata through derelict of duty to those at TD and their customers have run out of runway. They have been living a cat’s life for the duration of the decline at the company. Let’s face it..the barking will be more muted as there is no more or should I say no one left to hide behind or push forward as the sacrificial lamb. No more runway left, no more layers of gullibly management to hide behind. The layers have been removed and the spotlight is firmly on one specific service sales person to deliver. If you create a persona that you are the best, there comes a time when your bark will be seen through and you can no longer hide. The time has come..the end is near.

@1nb I'm on Vantage so I assume you mean to talk to me since I comment here a lot. I mean no harm, but I do want my voice to be heard there is a lot of negativity surrounding teradata on this site which is not the reality. You can drop a message to anyone who's a part of this organization and they will tell you that the culture and overall direction are good. I believe the core business areas of Teradata are healthy, and I have the right to say that is the case I do welcome respectful disagreement but that doesn't change that what I am saying is factual and true.
checking on you, doing great I hope and pray. Stupidity comes in different shape, form, job description and geographic location. Oh, there's one more thing. I realize you are more than one person from different locations. How can y'all be irritating, stupid and naive simultaneusly, is beyond me. Still, I wish you well and hope someday you will be the productive members of the society your parents intended to raise. Stay strong HR, marketing, engineer, cloud people. Go vantage, or gone already?

@je I'll be here buddy, there's a 0% chance I'm getting RIFed. I also will say I don't care what the ELT does, I do my job they do theirs and the majority of TD will be fine outside those on this board

RP was a failure from day dot here. I saw it before he became CRO. He just fails to inspire. A very dull individual who has spent all his life hiding away inside IBM with a track record of failure after failure.
Why November? three quarters under his salesforce-hugging target-missing stance ain't enough?

Richard Petley is sleeping at work. Nothing to dox here pebkac. He chose to be public in exchange of nepo. millions. So, here goes again - Richard Petley, teradata CRO is clueless in my opinion. They can scratch their PA's head as much, but this post can stay. Because, his name/picture is on teradata page, smiling proudly but buried in shame (not really). Get it? @d1 is asking to name the services sales leader. If they cared to drop their wisdom in a public place, calling them out will be fair game. Think admin will delete the post just naming this individual, but a linkedin or a blog link should be ok. I am curious as well. Possibly someone from UK or EMEA.

That has been every earnings call and town hall since 2020.
Stop with the “transformation” rhetoric already. TD has been “transforming” since the days of VL. Call it what it is: Status Quo. TD’s best days were two decades ago. Since then, nothing but squandered opportunities and lousy leadership.
It’s not a tough market. Teradata’s competitors are doing great. Data and AI are exploding. We’ll know more the first week on November.
Not sure who you're talking about on the ELT but I'm not really going to blame anyone there. It's a tough market right now SM is leading us through a transformation and I don't blame him for the turbulence. I'm fully with Teradata and I believe in the mission.
I think I know who this is directed towards and I think majority of people also know who this is. Fair play..accountability has to be prime focus now and people can no longer be allowed to hide and lie their way through the expense of hard working people..incompetence has to called out and failure has to be punished.
