Can someone summarize the talk? Saw comments on WFH and walk on water. What else? What are other changes that he wants?

I'm so sad. I didn't get to watch it. They locked me out of my laptop. I'm supposed to be an employee until Jan 26, but I guess not.
No, you are confused. Go back and reread your letter. You were terminated from the company. You are placed on leave until 26 Jan, but you are not to show up and work every day or attend company meetings.
It was recorded.
Maybe watch it later instead of asking people to post confidential info on a public website?
He takes his coffee with cream and a dash of child labor.
Lesson 1 in a mega company, never attend a ceo meeting.
There won't be any coffee.
he says remote work doesn't exist in broadcom. well - it does. more common than you would think. it requires a bunch of paperwork and justifications so not easy to get approved.
@enh+1pPCjIGO - I am no reporter. Ex VMW. Just curious about what he had to say and how he plans to turn this around. You can be as protective as you want. Others will eventually share bit by bit.

If you're an employee, the talk was recorded and you can watch it yourself later.
Otherwise, hello reporter. You will need to do better for your article.
No longer part of VMW but How Hock and Broadcom way changes will be a good case study in management and business tactics. Let’s see what works and what doesn’t.
Broadcom history, culture, business model, VMware focus products/divisions, Q&A.
VMware employees took shots at Hock on known pain topics like internships, remote work and employee support groups. He pretty much shot everything down flat, encouraging VMware to try the Broadcom way, as it's been quite successful so far :)
