Those who aren't following the 1 day a week WFH will not understand that there are 8 or 9 days left to WFH lol
@k2 what about people hours if not states beyond the footprint?
I hope more people leave to free up more monthly parking in the Charlotte tower.
All teammates should be equal. bring all FTE and Contractors back in the office
@f5 Some are saying it's already taking them 2hrs+.
@f0 it’s “couldn’t care less” not “could care less”. You are probably an in office TM and that’s the only reason you keep your job.
@em That commute for Atlanta teammates is going to be BRUTAL.
@em I’m on board with what you’re doing and applaud you for that . Unfortunately if you’re an ‘At Will’ employee, they could care less. They can basically find a loophole around everything and anything. I’m on the same boat as you by the way and was hired remote. I haven’t gone to HR yet as im waiting to see if any more changes or updates before year end. What was conveyed to me through my manager was the only people that can remain remote must have a medical exemption. Everybody else must return 5 days.
@em doubt they're too worried. The policy in PPM clearly says status is reviewed on an ongoing basis and subject to change based on business needs. Complete BS but it's there.
I’m just outside of Atlanta. I informed HR that I was hired as a remote employee, and that if they attempted to change those terms, they would be hearing from my attorney. Letter was mailed that day.
@ac Did you reach out to HR?
@ac what area do you live in? Are you near a hub?
I was hired remote last year. The only Truist real estate near me are a few local branches.
Not me, I am still remote, got the confirmation in writing from HR today!
@a I'd take a 10% cut as long as the benefits were the same (vac sick 401k etc.), but I don't think it will be neccessary because nothing is changing for anyone but the 4 day in-office teammates. I still have yet to speak with one person who lost their remote status.
@OP maybe for you su---r.
Trust that the executives will still be "working" remotely whenever they want. This is such a silly waste of time, I already got a recruiter cold call offering me a fully remote job doing basically what I'm already doing just paying 10% less. They're working through our whole area right now, curious to see who takes it. Even at a 10% pay cut I'm pretty tempted.
perhaps for you. I won't be coming in, so you will have to sniff someone else's farts in the restroom. sorry to disappoint.
