Today’s Freep headline 🤣🤣🤣
He should continue to have self doubt, but he has zero self awareness of his lack of capability to be CEO of any company.

@j7 your kind lost in Vietnam lol
As someone wisely stated below, improving our DEI stance and status has been one of JF's greatest accomplishments in his tenure as CEO.
Imagine if he replacement is from a DEI category. What a major advancement that would be for our company. To come from Henry Ford's antisemitic views all the way to a DEI CEO!
Next CEO will be DEI
Ford has been the master of Diversity for 30 years. Just look at the LL3 through LL5 list.
I saw it for years. If one had half a brain and no marbles. You got promoted. But anyone is better than Farley
The first issue Ford needs to address is the FNV4 promotion process.
Many individuals promoted to LL4 roles appear to be a fundamental source of all evil and dysfunction. A critical review of how these promotions were handled is essential to restoring effective leadership and accountability.
Next, attention should turn to the practices under “Doggy,” whose approach to annual layoffs and new hires has created stagnation. The lack of insight into who was laid off, what their contributions were, and the broader impact of these decisions has led to confusion and inefficiency across the organization. The most valuable people already left , and the garbage is never touched on all levels.
Post ID: @ek+1jw9gtcty : Yes, I agree there may be a search for a new CEO going on, but the net need not be cast very far.
Post ID: @e6+1jw9gtcty: I totally disagree with your comment because you are wrong. The top candidate is obviously in-house, DF should get the CEO spot. Most employees will agree.
@e7 Farley’s contract expires Oct 1 and I can’t imagine that the family wants to renew it. Based on the past year’s high level departures and positions going unfilled, I’d bet there is a CEO search currently going on. The new CEO will want to bring their own people in and will have lots of housekeeping to do to remove those incompetents already here.
@aa I started a pool on Farley’s last day at Ford before he goes off to spend mor3 time with his family. I have 9/30/25.
@ax Stellantis was able to find a new CEO in their ranks. Ford has nobody capable in the ranks because nobody at Ford is mentoring anyone.
Jim Farley stated very clearly that Ford lagged behind our competition when it came to DEI. He took on this challenge head on. And since then he has improved our DEI significantly. I belive that this major 'win' helped boose his confidence.
He is top talent
My guess is AF ..Marin G is an officer after only 3 years from BCG. He is definitely waiting in the wings for something.
Who will be next CEO?
DF thinks he’s it (NOT!)
BF wants AE to be it.
AF, NF, EF and AF are all not it.
CM is definitely not it.
No bench, on purpose. Bill likes being in charge.
No hope for our future.
Sad for a company my family worked for.
When Farley sends out press releases about himself that the Free Press prints as “news” it means something is about to happen. Let’s hope it’s Farley’s contract nonrenewal.
He should have listened to his instincts.
