I left NCR ~18months ago and am in a different industry now. Has the company made any inroads with new customers in Retail or is the strategy just about clinging on to what they have?

Never should have abandoned Dayton.
TJ Maxx. Upgrading the server 1st next month
Not sure why NCR continues to service the Macys account as they really don’t fit in with other accounts that NCR normally services. We have a CE in my region who is currently dedicated to them and is pretty good but not sure why he hasn’t been integrated in with the rest of the team or if they plan to let him go. Really
Not sure what Management is doing any more except send a bunch of reports and call you only if there is a problem.
Voyix needs to start supporting Franks Chicken House. Guess what industry that is LOL. In all seriousness the large accounts are what NCR is focused on holding onto. Not a great reputation at all when I hear other people on the outside talk. The Management of this company is pi-s poor and sudden communication is what they do best. Large lack of training and you are expected to know what you’re doing going in. Recipe for disaster.
@ek+1jp182w88 It's been that way forever. It's not like they send out an email blast, "Oh btw, we lost that big contract everyone depends on. Good luck!"
Unless there's some big thing where you have to return consigned parts or bank branch keys, for example, you most likely eventually realize on your own when you never get calls for that customer anymore.
As well, depot service is old news. They've been doing that for various customers forever.
Please, tell me something I don't know.
Voyix is losing customers as they move to different types of service. The big old cash registers are being replaced with tablets, if they break and remote support can’t resolve, a new one is sent to the store with a return label for the old one.
Brick and mortar stores and malls are closing everywhere as online shopping continues to grow.
When Voyix loses a customer, it’s all lips sealed, not even the service technicians are told.
Lol. Are they losing business on the retail side?
You can be sure that if Voyix does get a new customer, they'll publish a press release about it!
You know a company's in trouble if they think getting a customer is a newsworthy event. This applies to Atleos, too, by the way!
They recently signed a single site operator Big Kahuna Burger 🍔
