Major Layoffs coming in 2021 right now the company says few dozens. By 2021 it will be hundreds in 273. I wonder what the great onion gave up

One steward is sticking to the no layoffs until next year another is saying 50 people are taking vrips this year. Union shows they are useless as usual no one can get their stories straight.
@ehi+16M6Wr90 - To show the membership the onion saved jobs till 2021 but GE is banking on COVID for a plant shutdown.
Wouldn't be surprised if they started next week, why would they inform the media now for something that isnt suppose to start until next year and why didnt the union comment
