Hey everyone,
I was laid off in the last round and finally landed a job. I had a handful of offers after maybe 150 applications. Some notes:
- ignore the placement service regarding resume advice
- leverage linkedin for your network. Find companies you really want to work for then message people in that department on linkedin to ask questions about the team and then leverage that into a possible connection/reference
- never bad mouth crown (obviously)
- make sure your resume has quantifiable projects that answer the "so what?" for the recruiters and hiring manager
- utilize recruiters as often as you can
- prepare to be rejected a lot. It will help mentally
