Well now the curtain has opened and we can look behind to see the real story.
We can all now say with confidence that this whole plan was carefully orchestrated by Renjen who was providing the gameplan to CK and the other so called Executive team
to carry out. Clear that it was his plan not to present himself in any way to the 110.000 employees for the last 8 months so this all looks like he had nothing to do with these actions.
First was the policy decision to have "absolute" rollout for RTO, with some locations saying that if you live 40 miles from an SAP office AND IF YOUR HOME OFFICE WAS ALREADY "APPROVED" you can continue to WFH. Somebody can show me what exactly will be acceptable proof that you had an approved office? Many people like me started working from home, some 15 years ago - in my case that was 4 managers ago. No detail was provided at all as to what exactly constitutes "approved" so that no one will be able to fulfill this requirement of having an "approved" office. And don't kid yourself they deliberately worded it this way, providing no clear statement on what "previously approved meant" so it can be enforced how they want.
Second they inform they will "restructure" which will affect 8k employees, but no details as to what numbers are expected to be "voluntary", how many are targeted for "reskilling" ...etc. basically it's an open door for them to release whoever they want and from where ever they want.
End Result - It's clear that they put the bad news out on RTO, then 2 weeks later comes the fear of god announcement that there will be some 8k employees on the chopping block.
For those of you that watched the youtube video of Renjen, that somebody sent out on another post yesterday, then you heard in this video that Renjen stated ( at the 14;35 mark) that" the current SAP HC in India is about 17% of overall l HC, AND HE CAN ASSURE THAT CK, HAS ALREADY BEEN WORKING ON INCREASING THIS NUMBER. While at Deloitte he says he moved 75,000 jobs to India. Is there anybody still left who doesn't know at this point in the game what Renjen's plan is around SAP with regards to "HC lift and shift"? At the numbers he is talking about, we haven't even scratched the surface yet with 8K employees.
Colleagues, we are now at a whole new SAP, it's a clear reminder on how fast things can change. For those who have been with the company for 10. 15 or more years, you can now say goodbye to the company you worked hard for over such a long period. By the end of this year I predict even if you are able to hang onto your job, the place will have changed so much that you won't be able to get our of here fast enough.
It will be hard to believe anything going forward from this group - All trust is gone.
