RRP calculation

I’m hearing RRP is funded 72%. If someone earns a 3 rating, what percent of the 72% would they get?

All 3s on my team are getting zero. I’m kind of glad I won’t have to be the one to give them the news. They have worked so hard only to be told your efforts weren’t worth rewarding.

Depends on your leadership. For our area Managers can input preferences, but they don’t have real decision-making power. Final outcomes are controlled by leadership, not the managers themselves, which makes the process inherently unfair to both managers and their employees.

I got the hint we won't be around to enjoy RRP anyway.

@OP I mean really, who cares. It's always peanuts anyway that just get eaten up by the rise in our own premiums, tax increases and everything else. It's all a wash.

@eh
It's just a soft warning that you can't give less than1%. Unless you give 3s 0%, which it sounds like many teams are doing, I don’t think you can avoid it.

@e3 Anything below 1% isnt allowed. It has to be 0 or 1 (and above). Meaning 3s will get 0.

@e3 I was told the same thing by my VP.

Also have been told to give 0 to 3s. Expect somewhere between 0-1% for 3, 1-1.5 for 4 and 1.5-2% for 5

Our 3s get 60%, 4s get 100%, and 5s get 120-125% (unless they’re also getting promoted in which case we typically give less since their pay bump is larger.) So on my team, you’d get 60% of 72% of your target RRP.

I have to say... 72% is really good compared to other years and in our current business climate.

I've been told to give 0s to 3s.

Depends on your team your manager and your leadership. Some 3s get zero. Some get 50% of funding
