Republican AGs Warn Fortune 100 Firms: Quit Using Race in Hiring

A group of 13 Republican attorneys general on Thursday warned Fortune 100 companies that they could be hit with legal action for using race-based preferences in hiring, promotions and contracting after the Supreme Court rejected race-conscious admissions at colleges.

"As the Supreme Court recently emphasized, both our Constitution and our civil rights laws guarantee every American the right to be free from racial discrimination," Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti, one of the AGs leading the effort, said in a release.

"The Court's reasoning means that companies, no matter their motivation, cannot treat people differently based on the color of their skin. Corporate America continues to have many avenues to help disadvantaged people and communities of all races without resorting to crude racial line-drawing."

More corporations need to be like Frontier. Frontier promotes people based on their skin color instead of the old fashioned way of merit based. More companies need to get with the times. Frontier is living proof that you don’t need to be smart, but instead need to be diverse!

They couldn't have done this six months ago? I already started a business because I was sick of making up for the shortcomings of diversity hires/promotions. I'm the only one hiring. I will only employ Asians and Europeans. I will not tolerate any more ignorance.

Frontier's hiring practices lower than the exec-com isn't the problem, it's the exec-com itself starting the Nick-ster (or whatever "hip" name he wants to be called today). His dream: hang for a day with Virgin CEO, Branson and ex-T-Mobile CEO, Legere. Reality is he couldn't hand wash their dirty jock straps!
