been saying it for years......they'll find a way around that contract. Ya'll just didn't listen
One of the benefits for Optimum is they are able to get rid of all these employees and not have to pay a severance of any kind. They immediately feel a positive effect because they are no longer contributing to 401ks, paying the employer portion of employees healthcare and many other costs associated with having employees. This is just the latest temporary quick fix for a company in the last stages of life, on life support. PD has always said he does not like having employees and for the last 10 years he has been working overtime finding ways to get rid of them. There is more to come this was just the latest way to do it.

how is Mastec going to agree to the employee product benefit? It's not their product
I seriously doubt they will keep the Employee product benefit for them.
They did the same thing when they outsourced the warehouse to another company. That new company, Later folded and everyone was out of a job.
