Cable nets will be a big focus. Also any tv and movie crossover w Skydance will be an issue. Finally, they will get rid of remote workers wherever they can. Also international was untouched in past layoffs and will get a comeuppance sooner than later. Also lots of finance and legal folks we don’t need for the reduced amount of content and ability to use ai
@ea It's about time. MTV has been an albatross on the overall portfolio for years. Time to be truly progressive and bring the company into the future by shedding the entire MTV division along with its outdated and costly operational technical burdens.

@EA any idea which teams. Given the split of Unscripted going to George Cheeks and scripted streaming to Matt Thunells team, I can see this hitting McCarthys group hard.

@ea At the cable nets, there are still a lot of people (some good) not doing much of anything because there's almost no new programming or development. So what do they do all day?
@ea They would be wise to fumigate whatever remains of McCarthy's stench. And potential employers would be wise to skip right over all of those applications.
It appears the MTV Group will be significantly impacted this time.
