I can confirm IT is involved.
@f8 its just a rumor. Its what I've heard from a few different people. They seem confident engineering is safe for now. But, its still just a rumor. Not like anyone can know for sure.

Rumor is next week, and IT won't be involved for now.

@OP Not a stretch to expect more restructuring resulting in more layoffs but the higher-ups that know when and what is going to happen aren't going to post it on a blog. It will happen suddenly, without notice, followed by a somber, "heartfelt" message from our CEO about difficult decisions being made for the sake of Walgreens...as if anyone would care at that point.
