@gy . Early 2000’s contract was the beginning of the end for the union. Union leaders have sold out their members for a long time.Contracts have gotten worse and you have to stop dreaming if you think pensions will return.

What is odd I never meet a union members who admitted to voting yes to any contract> I am really starting to distrust the voting process. Every contract in the last thirty years has had some diminishments they are slowing bleeding the Union and we keep voting yes our wages are not keeping up and the new hires have no pension. When does it stop we need to hold line and demand better wages and reinstate pension for the New workers.

Very recently sending union leadership back shouldn’t be uncommon
Otherwise accept first and don’t complain later
Period
When was the last time workers successfully rejected a contract? Did they get more?
1101 is in charge of nothing. DC HQ Districts 1, 2, and 13 run the show. The rest fetch coffee. When you get final contact to vote on no one will seek credit. The sale of the century will be put to a vote. Enough say no maybe go back and get more. Enough say yes and the escalator down turns into an open elevator shaft. workers have final say. Remember that
Only way a strike take place is if members reject contract. Union can bring back a pile of S h - t. Workers vote to accept or not. Vote yes and you won whatever it is. Vote no and send them back to vz and demand more. Won’t happen though. Don’t think voters ever said no. Do know yes voters always bit-h afterwards
@OP 1101 ready to stick it to the membership
