Anyone know if this impacts Optum Insight DMRO?
Already happened in my team. N hired a bunch of people in India. Just check linked in. Dozens of people posting they got a new Job at Optum India. The management is spineless. They have a special place in he-l waiting. The millions they make is not going to help pay their way out of misery that awaits them.
Yes it's coming. Internal announcements have already started. 2 peoples profile already removed from teams in my team. Contractor are also being terminated.. higher you perform the more likely you'll be laid off is what I am observing. I have decided not to do more than minimum as it's not Worth the stress n meager bonus/RRP. I use my spare time to apply to other companies n planning on jumping soon
@ft you think this company actually plans, much less plan 3 years in advance?? This company reacts - to data breach, to shareholders displeasure, to mistakes made by execs and senior leaders. There are no actual well-thought out plans.

A bunch of people I worked with Friday on the Optum Tech side are no longer here today.....

@d8 I know one director specifically was asked for names for an April list. That person said other directors were asked for the same.
Quibble over the 15th versus the 30th if you want.
The earning call is in April 21st with this being a very crucial event in whether they can claim to put their problems behind and get those investors to open their pocketbooks . So yea layoff will occur probably on April 15th for the final report.
@OP You asked for concrete evidence and the 2 posts below say the 15th and the 30th ... so I guess nothing concrete
Next one suppose to be 4/30 - layoffs have been happening on Thursdays
It's coming by 15th. Affects UHC/Optum Tech. They have already hired a large number of people in India and now laying off US employees.
