Saw few folks announcing their last day on LinkedIn. It may be that time to crunch Splunkers after a year post acquisition. This is the way it works at Cisco. Share if you know more.

@dy wtf
Yes! Let's get rid of this arrogant pricks.
Yessss pleeeeease. Need to get rid of duplicate dead weight splunkers (and Cisco deadweight, obviously)
Cisco is back at sc--wing its acquisitions. This time it’s Splunk. All open reqs are now taken away and now Cisco is trying to drive up attrition aggressively. What’s next take focal budget, stop dispensing coffee, maybe let’s stop garbage pickup in Santana Row. Ugh!!
Not layoffs (yet). Innovative people don’t want to work for a company where the average tenure is 15 years.
After the 1:1 one is for 2 further months on payroll. So, these layoffs must have happened 2 months ago without anyone posting it here. That is b/s.
These are voluntary separations, not an LR.
Happens all the time when the retention bonus is fully vested.
agree that they probably just ran out the clock on a retention bonus
LR is not the sort of thing you brag about on LinkedIn
they probably have a retention bonus agreement that specifies non-disparagement (i.e. don't bad mouth Cisco), so playing it safe means you don't discuss reasons for leaving
So you think it was voluntary?
They probably had retention bonuses that vested at a year. Now they’re out.
