@dx Exactly. Why would the OP or anyone post the W!itch F@RTgo layoff link on the Citi layoff forum ?

Getting ranked second worst banking employer, behind #1 W!tch F@rtgo and BNY Mellon, is Not something to be proud of.

FYI BNY Mellon h@tes the derisive moniker BONY. It was previously Bank of New York before it merged with Mellon.
BONY is so fitting though because BONY Mellon is a skeleton bare bones "bank". It's Not even a bank since it sold all of its commercial bank branches to JPMorgan Chase in 2005. BONY Mellon is only a clearing house for financial transactions and storing / recording stock and bond certificates, like State Street Bank.

The whole industry su-ks. I spent most of my career outside it. Had I known (from a finance perspective) I’d have turned the offer down. Lots more job losses coming.

Not OP, but it is telling how active both WF and BNY forums are compared to Citi’s.

The OP is probably Citi HR trying, but failing to show Citi employees that there are worse employers in the banking/finance sector than Citi.

This is NOT a trophy or medal any employer should aspire to. And this is Nothing to brag about. W!tch F@RTGO and BNY Mellon may have taken first place as the worst banks to work for, but Citi is a close second place by one trillionth of one point !

Seems to be the same dumpster fire as Sh1tty if not worse. Not really surprising. I'm sure the forums of other banks too are in a similar state - some less, some more
