Thread regarding Citizens Financial Group Inc. layoffs

Funding detention centers

Does it bother anyone else that Citizens continues to provide major credit financing for ICE detention centers when other peer and larger banks pulled out of this business years ago?

You gave your money for 0.00% return, they invest it for 6% or more.
Check out their stock prices, they are doing extremely well.

@dr1 I am not a political extremist. But I am paying closer attention to where my dollars are being spent and managed, and I am directing them away from companies with whose actions I do not agree. Unfortunately, this has meant ending my decades long relationship with Citizens. And that's okay. We are all entitled to our own opinions and beliefs and can act accordingly. For me, it's time to move on from Citizens.

As a long time Citz customer with sizeable assets under Citz management, both personal & business, it bothers me and I can no longer support it. I am in the process of moving my assets elsewhere after decades of business with Citz.

Not at all. I support law enforcement and like most people, realize that allowing mobs of political extremists to cancel others’ bank accounts and lending arrangements because they’re not political extremists is a bad idea.

Unless responses are being deleted, apparently Citizens employees must be ok with this. Either that or they are too scared to post their true feelings one way or the other.
