Wishing GB to be let go as soon as Meg is onboard.
Back to work! How do expect to stay out the bottom 10% while you’re complaining online?
@dr calling it a "competition" to be on a team is an example of how mo--nic your thinking is. Just like when GB called it "olympics". Competition means winners vs losers. Me vs. the rest of my team so I win. What happened to winning together? Oh I forgot - you win by sleeping with the boss, that is the culture you promoted BL. F U.
@ee you are correct, I also heard that, and wondered if i was going crazy. Just shows how bumbling our leaders are. And no other leader on that call spoke up on it (including our female leaders, which makes you think how competent they really are). Care for others, but target the returning mothers....
I thought I must have misheard the comment about women coming back from maternity leave, needing more support and being and example of who would be in the bottom 10%? So, I came here to check. I heard, in response to the bottom 10% question, that not everyone will have a great year every year, and some people will need more support than others, like people returning from maternity leave. What the actual $%^& has this company turned into. How can any "leader" stand there and say that. No words.
He did lie that he asked Andy for a cowboy hat towards the end! Speaks of moral character under pressure or making an impression.
Like it or not, we will be ranked by performance. And of course, this will not favor you DEI hires but thats the nature of competition. No? And obviously if you are not at work due to maternity or paternity leave or off on holiday your productivity level is 0.0. We must compete every season for a valuable spot on the team.
The toxicity the 10% thing has brought is unreal. And GB wants people in it to basically LEAVE the company without them having to pay redundancy.
I had heard there wouldn't be this year as TSI taken roles and Redundancy but I know fact there are people in it.
@a3 Some people are already afraid to use their vacation and paternity benefits because they think they’ll be flagged as less productive. The comment he made will just reinforce it.
@a3 yeah, very strange response
The problem with the bottom 10% elimination is that we’re going to mostly replace those with other companies’ bottom 10.
Hopefully he gets the boot (along with the rest of the LT) when Megs arrives.
And the P&C guy said that people returning from maternity leave are in the bottom 10%. So we shouldn’t use our parental leave???
GB was not prepared for the question about the bottom 10%. He basically said there is always a bottom 10%, which does not make anyone feel secure in their job. Job insecurity does not make anyone work harder; it’s a distraction and encourages bad behaviors.
Lots of words not much substance
