Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Question on severance

Will CVS offer the same amount of severance package as it says in the colleaguezone document?

People must be on some hard stuff and that’s no excuse because so am I. Yeah, weird people are making up the layoffs beyond what’s in the warn notices and severance still goes by the handbook. It’s still on colleague-zone and hasn’t been removed or altered for 2 years.

As far as other layoffs I’m sure but there’s no info or dates on that rn.

@e9+1jnhs3z9e until there’s a reputable source, I don’t believe it. This is all conjecture.

I heard the same thing, but that was prior to the post from yesterday. There are people slated for layoff in DDAT. It's too big and is a cost center. Without funding, no work. It's not the engineers fault. It's bad management. Why pay someone 180k or more a year to manage people and still not have work done.?

Don't get comfortable. 5 years ago, Covid shut down the country March and April will be chaotic for a company that relies on CMS for it's core business.

This RTO or get severance for 2 weeks is just not true. At least not for DDAT. We were told by leadership that we’re all adults and can choose to go into the office, or WFH.

@dr+1jnhs3z9e it’s still there. Search for ‘severance’ and you can find it

The severance package info in CZ seems to have disappeared, no?

That was last layoff. Severance packages can be changed by legal at anytime.
Look, hold onto your bonus. Check your finances. Prepare for two weeks based on what is being said.
The other thread said people will be given the option to RTO, if not severance. That is not the same mindset as the October list. This sound more like an ultimatum.

You won't know until it happens.

Legal is going to protect the company first

You will get what's in the document. I know someone impacted in Feb and they got what's listed

@cc+1jnhs3z9e that’s why I’m asking. I see a comment in the other post saying people who get paid off in next wave will only receive 2 weeks severance… just wanted to confirm

There is a document, or was last layoff, that showed your years of service and salary grade, and what or how many weeks of service that would determine how many weeks you would get for severance. So, are you saying that document does not exist anymore and now if you are layed off no matter what, each person only gets two weeks?

???? What document????
Severance packages are sent to you once it's determined you are part of a layoff.
