Thread regarding ViacomCBS layoffs

How long are we safe for?

Now that this major round is over, do you think we'll get a decent reprieve or should we expect more in a few months?

To anyone still at that dreadful company, milk them for every penny you can with the assumption they will can you at some point if you are making a market rate salary.

If you were offered a buyout and you don't take then you are laid off. That's the whole reason for offering the buyout.

@dq Finally someone mentions the 800lb gorillas in the room . Those people only a couple of years away from retiring that KEPT their jobs while watching people barely starting out on their careers could have saved many people that have at least 20 years left in the workplace

Nobody ever addresses the 800lb gorillas in the room - your "colleagues" who are well past their shelf life that don't take the buyouts - causing all you other people to get laid off

Under this current 'leadership', I'm 99.9% sure there are no new layoffs in the US in July!
