Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

PJ should be speaking to Elon Musk

Think about it: he has money, a car business, a solar business, a space launch business, and he is looking to bore tunnels thru Los Angeles to eleviate some traffic. We have technology for cars, transportation, connectivity, and we have traffic in both San Diego and the Bay Area. He already in the Silicon Valley area a couple days a week without a house. He can sleep in his Qualcomm office. Just saying, this is whose door I would be knocking on.

I'm not sure if this was a serious or humorous post by @SFuPHQH-egn, but it's the best idea I've seen on here regarding this issue. It's a match made in heaven, when you think about it. I say go for it PJ!

What would Musk want Q for ? A 30 something, ailing former giant with serious forward looking issues ? Lawsuits all over the place, years of falling licensing revenue and over inflated ideas of self worth ?

Ah, yes, bus stop adverts and new fonts. Great stuff !

Musk is into doing truly new and innovative stuff. Why on earth would he want to fix Qs woes ? I doubt he'd even take a call from PJ. "Hey, you messed up your fathers company, now you claim to have 'vision' but need my $$$, riiiight ! Dont give me the leadership in 5G crap"

If Musk wanted to get into satcom; he'd start up a new stealth and hire the best and brightest. Musk would have a brand new fab up and running while Q execs are still trying to decide which Gulfstream to use and the marketing gurus coming up with a new hashtag. #WhyWait#
