Base salaries restored effective 9/1/2020 and seen in 9/15/2020 paychecks. We have been told we will not get payment of difference in salary for pay periods reduction was in force. SEEMs like that is the end of that story.

@dnyk+16Ldo1jF: "dead weight managers"? Hasn't that always been an oxymoron?
(just trying to add a bit of truthy humour to the discussion)

Salary was stolen..RIF due to covid. Allscripts announcing COVID pandemic over? Good luck to all remaining. From what I hear only dead weight managers left in groups no longer needed... Good luck

Current Employees - Hope your salary has been reinstated along with all arrears. Wish you all good luck so that there are no more RIFs or slash in take home pay.
Sincere regards,
An ex-employee!

Have there been any real updates around a timeline around salary reinstatement? I'm really not going to hold my breath, but it could potentially be a possibility ...

@8nvi+16Ldo1jF Call it a slip of the tongue. Old in that msg was meant purely as 'previous'. It was not at all meant as denoting a person's age.

Question. The snipt below
The best thing ex-employees can do is to throw out a lifeline to their old co-workers. Get as many of them as you can out of AS.

Interesting choice of words.
Old co-workers vs former co-workers. An obvious HR, pb,lkl, fill in any Allscripts follower. (Leader does not fit them) statement An obvious discrimination statement.

To any employee left there. Look don't wait for a job opportunity to come to you.

@6tnn+16Ldo1jF: Isn't it just sad to see that kind of thing occur? From my experience, there seems to be a very particular demographic that thinks this is acceptable behavior. It's a distinct form of entitlement that this well-recognized group is known for. And then they'll gripe and moan about how their 'talents' aren't recognized. Kind of pathetic.

What I just witnessed is an education is needed not a life line. Two currently employed AS employees had interviews here. I was not directly involved in the process and had zero influence. The arrogance displayed and cluelessness of the employment environment was unbelievable.
TIP DONT tell prospective employers how you expect to be managed... what you will and not do in new role. How they need to lead their direct reports...Don't throw out obviously inflated salaries for the position interviewed for. No sense throwing out life lines if they going to cut it.... Best advice... Don't wait for a handout. POUND ...KEEP POUNDING...to find new job...

The best thing ex-employees can do is to throw out a lifeline to their old co-workers. Get as many of them as you can out of AS.

The writing has been on the wall for years. AS plans on offshoring as many positions as possible. No, they can't do it all at once, so they will continue to chip away with small-ish layoffs on a semi-regular basis. And every time someone survives a layoff, they might mistakenly believe that it's because they are essential. But only for the immediate future. Get out while you're in control, and do it on your own terms.

No hate here. Just cold hard facts. AS has a plan, and most current employees don't factor into that plan in the long term. Whether that plan is based in reality and sustainable is open for debate. Personally, I think the only way AS survives is to become a clearninghouse for data and just give up on even trying to run EHRs. (let's be honest, the EHRs aren't very competitive). And the clearninghouse model works a LOT cheaper with onshore sales and mgmt, paired with offshore tech. It works even better with really good tech which is usually onshore, but AS tends to go with cheap vendors and sh–ty implementation. I may very well be wrong, but the behavioral patterns fit.

So... reach out to your friends and colleagues. Help them out. No need to worry about AS feelings or future. PB has his own plan, and we don't factor into it.

Hahaha. Allscripts therapists? That’s like sending social workers to break up the CHOP zone in Portland. Portland SWAT = Social Workers and Therapists.

I’m hardly looking to be a therapist, just a former employee who was able to let go of the past, even all the really shty things done to me and choose to not wish bad things on decent people who are employed by an awful company that garners no respect in the industry.

But if you want to wish bad things on people, you do you. Speaks volumes about what an a** you are, and takes away from the disgrace that Allscripts management is.

For the record, for those who say oh just leave, it “ain’t” so easy to just find a new job these days in case you haven’t read, noticed, or looked.

Allscripts therapist in the house. Lol
I feel better; not
Any current employee over a year in should have already been looking to jump.. anyone there thinking they make a difference...doing it for the clients...doing it for their leaders...doing it because that is the right thing... Fools. Keep pounding. Reach out to former co workers... It's tough but not futile. The more job doors that close...the closer you are to walking through that open door. Feel sorry for no one... Just do it...exit in control. Let the ones behind stress over it... KEEP POUNDING ...you will get free.. In

Allscripts is a mismanaged company with poor leadership, poor execution, poor management, and a poor plan forward. I don't trust much of what comes from there, never did. But, if an email goes to employees saying they are reinstating salaries, then unless something catastrophic has financially happened, I am sure the company will do so.

I wouldn't doubt raises in January will be delayed or won't happen depending on year-end results, but that's a different story. Plus, I"m sure that'll affect the meager raises in April, but again it depends on outcome of performance and selling off assets etc.

What I truly don't get is this.. I understand wanting to see the leaders fail, even the company fail. Many who comment on this page are bitter former employees or maybe even bitter present ones.

But there are people who are left behind, some of whom are most likely your friends or former or current colleagues who are just as caught up in this mess. Why wish bad things on them?

I am a former employee of Allscripts. I was laid off after many years of dedicated service, reviews way above average, and a performance better than anyone else on my team. I was laid off because I had been there a long time, and made a lot of money. The Covid excuse was just that, an excuse. I have absolutely no respect for Allscripts, senior leaders or middle management. I haven't in many years.

It took me a while to overcome my bitterness as management treated myself and employees badly for years with political stuff and favortism etc. But, it's over. For your mental health and to support friends who may be there just let it go.

I don't care if Allscripts burns in flames, but I still do feel badly for those who haven't left yet or don't know where to go. There's nothing good that comes from wishing bad things on innocent employees.

Nobody’s paycheck is being cut in half this month. It’s comments like that that make it hard to trust anything posted on this page.

Oh, but PB took what a 40% cut to his salary? Which is only 13% of his 7.5M total compensation. So effectively, he oh so generously shared the pain with a 5.5% cut. Cuz you KNOW he's still getting those fat stock options and bonuses again for "leadership".
