Lack of a real strategy in ANH or Food. All they know is to shut down plants and layoff people. No other company has so many internal strategists who just hire out their strategy to external consultants - now that is an opportunity for cost savings.

@dhh ANH has excess capacity. Quite a few unprofitable plants around the world. Part of their plans is to shut down or sell them to get their cost structure fixed. This is no different than any other industry.

This has been planned for a long time and is in execution.

Good luck to those who will be impacted.

@dhc I actually heard that something was going on with that location this morning. Not sure if it is closing or selling but something is going on. The person slipped and told me I never heard it.

@3je

This must be a Cargill HR or leadership member asking!!!

No indication of where/which area. People are smart and it is simple to read the tea leaves….. functional areas; businesses under consolidation and budget goals for next year also if your business /area is behind in SG&A goals then you are at risk.

@2s3 do you know what functions or areas the layoffs in February are supposed to hit?

Had a friend who still works there come over to my house for thanksgiving dinner. This person is glad that has survived 3 rounds since last year however is under tremendous stress waiting for the hammer to fall…. Already looking for outside opportunities. Apparently there is another round coming in February of 2026.

I left before last year’s RIF and never looked back. New job pays 30% better; benefits are at par. Trying to help my friends find landing spots/new jobs. The stress is. It worth it…… Cargill is definitely not worth it!

@OP C-Suite execs are holding off on layoffs until right before the Thanksgiving holiday to ensure maximum pain to employees. The company only cares about one thing and that's the bottom line. The sooner you accept this and wise up to find something different, the better. Wish you all luck in the up and coming purge...
