I'm curious how many are actually getting interviews and offers versus just sending resumes into the void.

@dq awesome 👌
@dh nope. I did not compromise. Got an increase of approx 28k on base and approx 45k increase on bonus (if performance goals are met) from Citi. Also one level up although it's not a big bank but a boutique bank.. I am so done with big banks for now anyway
@b6 how about the pay and position? Did you compromise in them? On the same boat.
sent/applied to about 50-75 jobs, have only got interest from 3 - 2 were wrong fit, 1 pending...
Those job hunting....don't get disheartened. Keep up your spirit and it will happen. It may take time...took me nearly a year. I didn't give up. I'm now at a much better place actually building out a small department from scratch. And there are no dinosaur MD's and D's around to steal my work and claim credit to advance their own career like it happened with me in Citi. Good things sometimes take time to come. I know that won't sound right to someone who may have spent 2-3 months already on applying with nothing to show for it yet...hang in there. It will happen.
Sending good vibes to all job hunters..stay positive and more importantly, stay absolutely determined to get out of Citi. Determination and will move mountains
@b1 agree 500%.
You resume is declined by system if you have 20 years and above experience.
Ragnarök - job market is horrible, any opening posted in 2 hours ago can get 100+ applications. Recruiters may either tell you either they are not able / will not go through all CVs, or all CVs look qualified.
People leave in NY/388 but their backfill is offered somewhere else in US or even Costa Rica/india. Ugh.
Curious as well. Nothing solid for me thus far..
