They have been downsizing the footprint in Frederick for a long time now. Much of WFHM started to be sent to Iowa and other places a while back. There are still a variety of Risk, Capital Markets, CTS, teams in the building..
I haven't driven by the Frederick office recently, but based on the renderings, it looks like MATAN is adding on to the existing building, which is substantial. WFC has the opposite (west) side of the building from where they are adding the laboratory addition.
This doesn't necessarily imply layoffs, but who knows...
they are getting rid of the entire Fredrick office looks like, more layoffs and no replacements in this case
